Chiara Antonietti elected as junior coordinator

During the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction EARLI conference in August 2021, Chiara Antonietti was elected Junior Coordinator for SIG 6 'Instructional Design'. EARLI, the European Association for Research on Learning and Education, is the largest educational research association in Europe. It has 27 SIGs (Special Interest Groups) representing researchers working on different aspects of learning and education.

The SIG 6 Instructional design brings together researchers who study the design and development of learning environments. Learning environments are conceived as contexts that aim at fostering learning. The contexts range from regular classrooms to highly sophisticated virtual reality environments. The key question discussed in the SIG pertains to the relationship between different features and outlooks of such environments on the one hand and learning processes and learning results on the other.

As a JURE coordinator Chiara Antonietti helps the two SIG 6 coordinators Prof. Dr. Alberto Cattaneo and Prof. Dr. Julian Roelle to organize the SIG activities. We congratulate Chiara on her nomination and wish her all the best in her new assignment.
