The ENSETP is a public educational facility that is part of the University of Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (UCAD). Its main remit is to train school teachers, school psychologists, pedagogical advisors and teaching supervisors.

On 25 November 2019, the ENSETP and SFIVET signed a partnership agreement at an official ceremony in the presence of representatives of the UCAD Board, the President of the Republic, the Ministry of Employment, Vocational Training and Craft (MEFPA), the National Council of Employers (CNP) and the National Confederation of Senegal Employers (CNES), vocational schools as well as the Swiss Ambassador, Weichelt Krupski, and SFIVET Board Chairman Philippe Gnaegi.

Signature of this agreement was made possible thanks to cooperation between the two institutions within the framework of a Swiss support project (FDFA/Francophonie) to introduce dual-track VET in Senegal. In April and July 2019, thirty people attended training courses on vocational pedagogy and on qualification procedures. These training courses drew workplace trainers and vocational school teachers as well as inspectors from both the private and public sectors.

During the ceremony, thirty certificates of attendance were awarded to the course participants.
