Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry relies on SFUVET’s expertise in VET
At the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry KADIN and the Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training SFUVET signed an agreement on 19 January 2023 to collaborate on improving VET in Indonesia.
The agreement between the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry KADIN and the Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training SFUVET aims to support KADIN, particularly in the areas of occupational development, private sector participation and quality assurance. Yukki Nugrahawan Hanafi, Vice Chairman Coordinator of KADIN, and Adrian Wüthrich, Chairman of the SFUVET Board, signed the memorandum of understanding in the presence of the Indonesian ambassador at Indonesia’s WEF pavilion. Arsjad Rasjid, President of KADIN, laid the foundations for this collaboration during initial discussions with SFUVET held in November 2021.
KADIN is a non-governmental organisation which has its headquarters in Jakarta. Its members are national companies from various sectors, including private enterprises, cooperatives, and state companies.
