The Ivory Coast’s Minister for Vocational Training visits SFUVET
As part of a study trip to Switzerland, an Ivorian delegation led by the Minister Mr Koffi N'Guessan visited SFUVET for talks over future collaboration on vocational education and training.
On 18 November 2022, the Director General Barbara Fontanellaz received a delegation from Ivory Coast at SFUVET in Zollikofen. The delegation was led by the Minister for Vocational Training Mr Koffi N’Guessan. Discussions focussed on the Swiss vocational education and training system, the role played by SFUVET and above all future collaboration. SFUVET has close relations with the Ivory Coast. Several years ago a SFUVET delegation visited Abidjan at the invitation of the ministry. The aim now is to renew the existing agreement between SFUVET and the Ministry of Vocational Training and to support local partners as part of a project on the training of instructors.
