Partnership with Indonesia

Jakarta, 29 July 2019 - SFIVET Board Chairman Dr. Philippe Gnaegi participated in the seminar “Revitalization of Indonesian vocational Higher Education” in Jakarta and signed a Letter of Intent with the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.

By invitation of Mr. Prof. Dr. Muliaman D. Hadad, Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland, SFIVET Board Chairman Dr. Philippe Gnaegi presented the importance of public-private partnership and the role of SFIVET at the seminar “Revitalization of Indonesian vocational Higher Education” in Jakarta. The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and further Indonesian stakeholders. More than one hundred Indonesian and Swiss representatives participated in this unique event. On this occasion, Dr. Philippe Gnaegi signed a Letter of Intent with the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs (Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education) aiming to strengthen the collaboration in dual vocational education and training.

In May 2019, SFIVET welcomed the Vice-President of Indonesia with his delegation in Lausanne.
