Evaluation of VBV 'Young Insurance Professional' training programme

The 'Young Insurance Professional' training programme run by the Swiss Insurance Training Association (VBV) is slated to undergo revision. SFUVET’s Evaluation Unit was commissioned by the VBV to conduct a comprehensive preliminary evaluation to ensure that the revision process can take place under optimal conditions.

In stage 1 of the evaluation process, a workshop will be held with members of the quality control committee and selected insurance professionals. This workshop will enable us to determine requirements, identify relevant evaluation questions and get key stakeholders involved at an early stage.

In stage 2, a detailed evaluation design will be established on the basis of the workshop results. This work will be done in consultation with VBV as our client and will help us to decide what data needs to be collected when, how and from whom.

In stage 3, detailed action steps will be presented to the quality control committee.

In stage 4, we will contact the two main groups selected for our survey: current and former programme participants will be asked to fill out an online questionnaire and in-depth online interviews will be held with VBV insurance professionals.

In stage 5, a workshop will be held to validate the results of our survey and discuss proposed action steps.

In stage 6, an evaluation report summarising our findings and recommendations will be submitted, thereby completing the evaluation process.
