Open Access at SFUVET
Open Access refers to free access to scientific publications via the internet. Open Access is supported by scientific organisations, universities and libraries around the world. Research at universities is financed with public money. Therefore, the results of this research should be "open access" to the public, i.e. freely accessible and freely usable.

SFUVET greatly contributes to a better understanding of vocational education and training. We also make our research findings readily accessible to the general public through the Open Access system. Open Access creates a win-win situation: interested parties can gain faster and easier access to research findings and at the same time researchers benefit by having their work more widely disseminated.
