Enrolment in the Master of Science (MSc) in VET once again reached a very high level in 2018 with 44 students (2017: 45 students). Six students successfully completed their MSc in 2018.

In 2018, the modular structure of the Master’s degree programme was revised to enable future students to study more efficiently. At the same time, this makes it easier for senior lecturers to coordinate their teaching and research activities.

On 27 April 2018, the MSc team worked with members of SFIVET’s International Relations Sector to organise a study day on ‘International Cooperation in Vocational Education and Training’. This event was held on the Zollikofen campus and drew considerable interest: Not only MSc students attended it but also many external guests.

In the area of higher education, SFIVET continued to work on the new Bachelor’s degree programme and its focus on digitalisation. The new programme will be joining its big brother, the Master’s degree programme, starting in the autumn of 2019 and is expected to boost interest in the MSc in VET programme.
