Among other things, SFIVET representatives held talks with delegations from Senegal and South Africa. They also took advantage of this opportunity to establish closer contacts with Swiss partners – e.g. the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) – who are important in SFIVET’s efforts to pursue international cooperation in vocational education and training,

SFIVET also led a seminar on how dual-track VET programmes can be introduced in existing education systems, which specifically covered the challenges and achievements of initiatives in Gabon and Bulgaria. In addition, there was a SFIVET stand and representative on hand at the “Skills Village” of the congress.
