Encouraging the acquisition of cross-cutting competences among banking specialists

Digitalisation, individualisation, sustainability - these trends also affect the banking industry and require future banking professionals to develop ‘transversal competences’ such as social and communication skills, the ability to think critically and the habit of pursuing lifelong learning. The Swiss Bankers Association has commissioned SFIVET to develop a training concept enabling the acquisition of transversal competences and to make corresponding recommendations on how this training concept may be implemented within the Swiss professional education sector.
