High-ranking delegation visits SFIVET to learn more about dual-track VET

Zollikofen, 25 April 2019 – The Indonesian Ambassador, the Iranian Ambassador and a member of the New Zealand Parliament have all shown interest in SFIVET’s role and its expertise is in demand internationally.

Within a two-week span, SFIVET received official representatives from various regions of the world. Examples include Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland, Prof. Muliaman Hadad, who expressed interest in working with SFIVET, particularly in the area of teacher training. Iranian Ambassador Dr Mohammad Reza Haji Karim Jabbari also queried about SFIVET expertise in Renens and finally Louise Upston, New Zealand MP and former Minister of Corrections attended an information event in Zollikofen.

In addition to receiving delegations, the core activities of the International Relations Division include implementing vocational training projects in Africa, Eastern Europe and Singapore as well as training programmes organised by the Swiss VET Academy
