Christian Rosser appointed national head of the Education division at SFUVET

At the request of SFUVET’s Director General, the SFUVET Board has appointed Dr. Christian Rosser as the national head of the Education division and as a member of the SFUVET Executive Committee.

Christian Rosser, 45, will take up his new position as national head of SFUVET’s Education division on 1 October 2024, or earlier if possible.

Christian Rosser has been Chief Operating Officer of the Swiss Institute for Translational and Entrepreneurial Medicine (sitem-insel AG) for seven years. Since January 2022, he has also been the interim Director of the sitem-insel School, a centre for continuing training of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Bern. In 2011, he completed his doctorate at the University of Bern in Politics and Management and since then has been teaching at the Competence Centre for Public Management in the field of further education. In 2022, he graduated with an Executive Master of Business Administration at the University of Zurich.

Christian Rosser has in-depth knowledge of the Swiss education system and extensive experience in the structuring and implementation of transformation processes in centres of expertise. In his first educational choice, he completed an apprenticeship as an electrical fitter. During his studies, he worked as a teacher of languages and general education courses at various schools at lower- and upper-secondary level. He lives with his wife and two children in Bern.
