The Dominican Republic's Minister of Labour visits SFUVET
A delegation from the Dominican Republic led by the Minister of Labour visited SFUVET for discussions on potential collaboration.
Today, a delegation from the Dominican Republic visited SFUVET in Zollikofen. It was led by the Minister of Labour Mr. Luis Miguel de Camps. Discussions focused on the Swiss vocational education and training system’s key success factors, the role played by SFUVET and, above all, future collaboration.
Of particular interest was how SFUVET keeps its training and services up to date in the fast-changing environment. Close collaboration with the private sector and meeting the needs of business within the VET system was another topic of discussion.
Further discussions will be held to strengthen the collaboration, particularly with the National Institute for Technical and Vocation Training INFOTEP.
