Innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and commitment are of fundamental importance in professional training and development. Initiatives are required to enable the breakthrough of new ideas which lead to the launch of successful projects. The ENTERPRIZE is awarded to innovative and outstanding projects in the following areas: Transition programmes to vocational education and training (VET), improvement of apprenticeship programmes, VET, professional education and training (PET), continuing education and training (CET) and careers guidance. ENTERPRIZE provides individual recognition, but is also a tool for informing, motivating and raising the awareness of the public.

Entry open to international projects for the first time

An ENTERPRIZE International award will be presented for the first time in 2024. Organisations from Switzerland which have launched innovative VET projects as part of international collaboration on VET can submit entries for this award. The award is endowed by the Swiss Forum for Skills Development and International Cooperation (FoBBIZ).

The 2024 ENTERPRIZE winners in all categories will be selected by a jury made up of prominent figures on the Swiss VET scene. The criteria are the impact achieved by the project, the level of innovation and the degree of entrepreneurship. The prize money is CHF 10,000 for 1st place, CHF 5,000 each for 2nd and 3rd places and CHF 5,000 for the winning ENTERPRIZE International project.

Project entry deadline: end of March 2024

Entries can be submitted by individuals, companies or organisations until 28 March 2024. Full information can be found on the Enterprize website.

The award ceremony will take place on 17 September 2024 as part of the national SFUVET-OBS conference at Casino Bern. The ENTERPRIZE will be presented at an award ceremony attended by Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin and other leading figures from the world of politics, business/industry and education.
