A very valuable exchange took place with an education delegation from Ukraine that was led by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Mr Yevhen Kudriavets.

The discussion focused on potential collaboration possibilities in the field of VET. Ukraine is currently undergoing a number of VET reforms. Among the most important are the change in the affiliation of VET schools from national to regional level, and the revision of curricula, which need to be updated in line with emerging trends.

The visit at SFUVET was part of a two-day program of the Ukrainian delegation including visits with Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin.
